PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower temperature of a bearing improving the cooling structure of each portion, especially the bearing, of an electric motor for vehicle, and to prevent shortening of service life and lowering in strength. SOLUTION: An axial direction hole 21 extended along the axial direction of a rotating shaft 12, and a radial direction hole 22 are formed at the rotating shaft 12, wherein the radial direction hole is provided communicating with the axial direction hole 21, and absorbs fresh air, introduced by a fan operation into the axial direction hole 21 accompanying the rotation of the rotating shaft 12, then blasts the bearing 10 as cooling air. Air that flowed in from the fresh air passes through the axial direction hole 21 and the radial direction hole 22, to flow into cooling space 20, then the air is exhausted from an air exit 23.
