PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat motor capable of increasing mechanical strength, minimizing vibration and noise, restraining leakage of magnetic flux between adjacent teeth sections and preventing lowering of motor efficiency. SOLUTION: This motor includes a stator constructed by alternately layering a first core sheet and a second core sheet one by one or by alternately layering them for every plurality of sheets. The first core sheet has front ends of adjacent teeth sections jointed and retained to each other.
