PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle battery monitoring device which can accurately correct the offset value of a current sensor. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle battery monitoring device, for monitoring charge/discharge current of an on-vehicle battery 40 by using the current sensor 43, comprises an ignition switch 49, a main line current interception means 41 to intercept current of a main line A as a monitoring object of the current sensor 43, a detection means 51 which detects output of the current sensor 43, when the ignition switch 49 is off and the main line current interception means 41 intercepts current, and an offset value correction means 51 for correcting the offset value of the current sensor 43 by using the value detected by the detection means 51. Since the output of the current sensor 43, when the current to be measured by the current sensor 43 is 0 A, is detected as the offset value, the offset value reflecting individual differences and a change in property due to degradation of the current sensor 43 can be obtained, and the offset value of the current sensor 43 can be corrected accurately.
