PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a restoration apparatus for ink delivery section which can certainly wipe out and eliminate an ink adhered to the discharging surface of an ink delivery section and restore the discharging surface to the initial surface condition easily and immediately. SOLUTION: The restoration apparatus is equipped with an ink absorption member 5 for absorbing an ink extruded from a discharging port 9 of the ink delivery section 1 and making it permeated, an ink supply means 2 for feeding the ink to the ink delivery section and extruding the ink from the discharging port, a wiping out means for eliminating the ink adhered to the discharging surface by frictionally sliding a liquid-absorbing wiping out member 3 which has at least two discontinuously contacting parts 3a, 3b, 3c on the discharging surface 21 of the ink delivery section and a washing-liquid supply means 4 for supplying a washing liquid to the wiping out member.
