PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate constituted by stacking a rubber layer and a metal layer through an adhesive layer, enhanced in the adhesive strength between the layer and the metal layer and having excellent compression-resistant permanent strain properties in the rubber layer after crosslinking. SOLUTION: In the laminate constituted by stacking the rubber layer and the metal layer with the adhesive layer in between, the rubber layer is constituted of a polar rubber composition containing a polar rubber and at least one kind of a resin selected from a phenol resin and a petroleum resin and the content of the resin in the polar rubber composition is 2-30 pts.wt. with respect to 100 pts.wt. of the polar rubber. The phenol resin is preferably at least one kind of a resin selected from a phenol/acetylene resin and a terpene/phenol resin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
