PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dish washer which detects occurrence of abnormality in water feeding precisely and the kind of the occurring abnormality in water feeding. SOLUTION: A second water level detector 70 detects two water levels with a lower-stage switch 78 and an upper stage switch 84 arranged at a higher position than this. The kind of the abnormality in water-feeding operation is discriminated by whether an opening signal or a closing signal is outputted to a water valve 41 at the time or whether a time from turning on of the lower stage switch 78 to that of the upper stage switch 84 is shorter than three times of a time t2 required from turning on of the lower stage switch 78 to that of the upper stage switch 84 while the water valve 41 is opened normally (3×t2).
