An adjustment mechanism comprising a casing, an inlet member that is moveable relative to the casing; an outlet sprocket provided with a circular set of teeth and mounted to pivot in first and second bearings that are secured to or integral with the casing and that flank the outlet sprocket, said outlet sprocket being connected to the inlet member via a transmission device contained in the casing. The casing is provided with at least one side opening facing the set of teeth on the outlet sprocket, so as to enable said outlet sprocket to mesh with an external member. |
