<p>An automotive clamp tool holds valves and valve springs under compression during assembly. The tool consists of a cylindrical sleeve (2) with a transverse keyway and a second inner bush (3) with a center waist section (16), and a hooked head (5). The inner bush has a left hand thread (14) at one end and a right-hand thread (15) at the other. These threads (14, 15) engage respectively with matching threads (4, 12) in the hooked head and cylindrical sleeve.</p> |
