The method involves forming a group of mobile radio terminals (1) with members and selecting one of the members as an agent of the terminals by considering characteristics of transceivers of the terminals. Currently available mobile radio networks are determined by the agent of the group and the results of the currently available mobile networks are transmitted as a scan-report by the agent for further processing. An independent claim is also included for a mobile radio terminal with a device sending and receiving data.
