A device and a method for processing snooping in a multi-bus system are provided to reduce power consumption caused by a snooping operation performed for cache consistency. A controller(200) transacts an address requesting the snooping operation to a connected system bus in case that the address requesting the snooping operation to the system bus is not stored in a database(210). In the case that the address requesting the snooping operation in the connected system bus is not present, the controller stores the address to the database. In the case that the address requesting the snooping operation in the connected system bus is present, the controller provides data corresponding to the snooping-requested address to the system bus requesting the snooping operation.
