A damping force variable valve for a shock absorber is provided to reduce the noise and the friction and improve the whole performance without defective production and without precise processing of the sealing disk and the housing sheet surface. A damping force variable valve for a shock absorber comprises a valve sheet(74g) installed at the outside of a retainer mounted between a pilot retainer(74b) and a lamination disk(74d) at a disk assembly(74') and formed with a path part formed in an inner periphery, an arrangement groove part horizontally formed at the outside of the upper surface, and a projection pushing part downwardly projected at the outer end of the lower part and supported at the outer end of the lamination disk; and a sealing disk(74f') whose one end is inserted in the arrangement groove part and other end is horizontally installed to be closely contacted at the inner peripheral surface of the housing sheet to be longitudinally slid and to seal/divide an upper high pressure room(78) and a lower pilot room(79).
