<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management device, a document management method and a program, in which, in setting of security level for an input document, the security level can be automatically calculated based on a keyword of the document by designating the keyword, and accumulated with the document. <P>SOLUTION: A keyword level accumulation part 6 accumulates sets of <keyword and security level> inputted in a keyword level setting part 5. Keyword retrieval is performed in reply to a retrieval request from a security level calculation part 4, and the keyword level accumulation part 6 receives one keyword from the security level calculation part 4.
