<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of providing higher entertainment and functionality as to synchronous reproduction of contents among a plurality of apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: AV contents recording and reproducing apparatus 1A, 1B respectively acting like master and slave apparatus store common edit object contents and the master apparatus executes edit of the contents. A result of the edit has materiality as information described with edit control information for instructing a reproduction output mode. The master apparatus transmits the edit control information to the slave apparatus, and both the AV contents recording and reproducing apparatuses 1A, 1B start reproduction of the edit contents by the edit control information on the basis of a transmission/reception timing of acknowledgement (Ack) transmitted from the slave apparatus to the master apparatus in response to the edit control information transmitted to the slave apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
