<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle equipped with a solar battery with the following problem solved: when the battery is charged by operating the solar battery also when the vehicle is out of service, the battery state of charge when vehicle operation is resumed shifts from the value recorded immediately before the vehicle was brought out of service. <P>SOLUTION: The power charged in the battery by the solar battery while a main switch, which is closed only when the vehicle is in service, is open is added up with an integrating wattmeter. Based on the power integration value on the integrating wattmeter, the value of battery state of charge recorded immediately before the vehicle was brought out of service is corrected by one operation in the early stages after the main switch is closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
