<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely estimate a rolling index as an index for expressing the easiness in appearance of a rolling increase tendency in a vehicle, and to properly control stabilization for rolling motion. <P>SOLUTION: The rolling index for expressing the easiness in the appearance of the rolling increase tendency in the vehicle is estimated in a rolling index estimation means M4, in response to a comparison result of an actual rolling motion detected by a rolling motion detecting means M1, with an estimated rolling motion computed by a rolling motion estimating means M3 based on a traverse acceleration detected by a traverse acceleration detecting means M2.
