PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device improved in the static destruction strength of a gate insulating film. SOLUTION: Since an L-shaped hollow part R1 is formed at a retention capacitance line 13A and a contact hole C2A is disposed so as to be housed in the space of the hollow part R1, an electric field between the contact hole C2A through which a metal wiring line 14 passes and the retention capacitance line 13A is dispersed along the edge of the hollow part R1. Thereby, static discharge from the part of the contact hole C2A to the retention capacitance line 13A is not concentrated in one point. The edge of the hollow part R1 preferably draws an arc having the contact hole C2A as the center. The edge of the hollow part R1 draws about a quarter of a circle. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
