PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network data for matching capable of improving the accuracy of matching processing, its preparing method, and a navigation system using it. SOLUTION: The network data for matching is used for matching the current position of a moving body on a link of the network data expressed by the link for connecting between a node and a node. The network data for matching is constituted by setting nodes N1-N4 in the midway of respective roads connected to the intersection points and setting links L1-L4 each of which connects between the nodes via the intersection points without setting nodes at the intersection points of roads in road network data.
