PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform matching processing for correcting the current position of a navigation terminal device on a road. SOLUTION: This navigation system 10 comprises a satellite navigation means 212, an autonomous navigation means 213, a matching means 215, and a position storage means 219, and a positioning means selecting means 214. A travel distance after passing a branch node is obtained from the autonomous navigation means 213, and position information indicating an estimated position of a moving body based on the travel distance on a link is stored in the position storage means 219 every link branched from the branch node. The positioning means selecting means 214 selects either the positioned output from the satellite navigation means 212 or the positioned output from the autonomous navigation means 213 according to a predetermined condition. The matching means 215, when the autonomous navigation means 213 is selected, determines the travelling direction of the moving body based on the positioned result of the autonomous navigation means, refers to the position storage means 219, and selects the position of the estimated position on the link matching with the travelling direction as a matching position.
