PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a lead wire is disconnected by a skipping exercise, and to solve the problem that great tensile force acts on the lead wire when it becomes difficult to give an extra length to the lead wire and a voice coil becomes maximum amplitude. SOLUTION: In a speaker apparatus 20 wherein an edge damper 7 is integrated in the outer periphery of a diaphragm 5 and a voice coil 8 is fixed in the outer periphery of the diaphragm 5, a coil housing groove 6 for housing the voice coil 8 is prepared in the outer periphery of the diaphragm 5, and a pair of lead wires 23 extending from the voice coil 8 in the coil housing groove 6 are pulled out from the open portion of the coil housing groove 6 to a front face side of the edge damper 7, then caused to crawl on the front face of the edge damper 7, conducted and fixed to a pair of terminal members on a frame 4.
