PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for suitably reproducing a video and an audio from an optical disk. SOLUTION: In the reproducing system, a video object set 296 storing video data, an audio stream and a subvideo stream as reproduction target in an optical disk, and management information 275 for managing this video object set 296 are stored in a video title set 272. In the video object set 296, program chain reproduction information 300 is stored in management information 294. The program chain reproduction information 300 includes program chain general information where program subvideo stream control having a subvideo stream number used by the program chain described therein is described.
