PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fittings positively preventing the infiltration of rainwater while maintaining ventilating and insect-proof performance when opened. SOLUTION: Three lower and right-left side clearances out of clearances on four sides formed between four peripheral edges of a sash 3 and four peripheral open edges of an opening 2A when the sash 3 is opened, are closed with ventilating and insect-proof means, and the upper clearance 21A is closed with a projecting piece (an impervious means) 35A. The intrusion of insects, dust, or the like can thereby be prevented while ensuring sufficient ventilation, and the infiltration of rainwater from the upper part can be positively prevented. Consequently, even if it rains during ventilation with the sash 3 opened into an open position, the infiltration of rainwater from the upper part is prevented to keep the indoors from getting wet.
