PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition capable of being used suitably as a member for covering a light source, i.e. a scattering plate of a direct backlight unit and an edge-light backlight unit of a liquid crystal television, a globe box of a lighting utensil, switches of various devices and applications in general requiring the light-scattering property, since the light-scattering plate obtained by molding the composition has a further excellent optical performance. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic resin composition having an excellent light-scattering property consisting of (A) 100 pts.wt. transparent thermoplastic resin, (B) 0.1-6 pts.wt. light-scattering agent having 1-10μm mean particle diameter and (C) 0.03-1 pt.wt. light-accumulating agent having 1-20μm mean particle diameter and the light-scattering plate consisting of the same are provided.
