<p>The interior mirror in a car is sometimes blocked by rear passengers or bulky luggage and the loading space of a van or lorry separated from the driver's cabin by a panel. The system (1) comprises a camera (2) attached to a suitable spot at the rear of the vehicle. The information is transmitted to a microprocessor (5) also controlling the functions of the camera (2). An image of the area behind the vehicle can be constantly shown on a screen (6) inside the passenger cabin or displayed on demand.</p> |
