DAMPER DISK ASSEMBLY AND FLYWHEEL ASSEMBLY

A damper disk assembly and a flywheel assembly capable of providing excellent twisting vibration absorbing and damping characteristics. The damper disk assembly comprises a pair of plates (11) and (12), a flange (20), coiled springs (16) and (17), and friction plates (58) and (59). The pair of plates (11) and (12) are fixed to each other. The flange (20) is disposed between the pair of plates (11) and (12) in the axial direction. The coiled springs (16) and (17) elastically connect the pair of plates (11) and (12) to the flange (20) in the rotating direction. The friction plates (58) and (59) are disposed to act in parallel with the coiled springs (16) and (17) between the pair of plates (11) and (12) and the flange (20) in the rotating direction, frictionally engaged with the pair of plates (11) and (12), and engaged with the flange (20) rotatably relative to each other only within a very small twist angle.
