<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an apparatus such as a fuel cell installed under a body floor. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell automobile is driven by a fuel cell 2 to generate electric power through electrochemical reaction between hydrogen and oxygen, in which a sub-frame 30 to which the fuel cell 2 is mounted is attached from below to the floor frame of an automobile body. The sub-frame 30 for the fuel cell is composed of left and right side frames 31 extending in the fore-and-aft direction of the body and a plurality of cross members extending across an automobile width and coupling the left and right side frames 31, and an under-guard 70 inclining downward as going toward the back of the body is installed in the front of the sub-frame 30 in such an arrangement that the tail of the under-guard 70 is tied with the cross-member located in the forefront of the body while the front end of the under-guard 70 is tied with the body frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
