<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimum gas and liquid environment for enhancing wound healing, improving patient comfort and reducing costs by providing an occlusive covering and interaction with a wound during the healing process. <P>SOLUTION: A method of forming an in situ film dressing on animal tissue is provided, which comprises preparing an application liquid including a polyalkylene carbonate, applying the application liquid to animal tissue and forming a film dressing on the animal tissue.
