<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing unit capable of suppressing the lowering of the preload of a bearing due to thermal expansion and the lowering of smoothness of rotation and durability due to the lowering of the preload and capable of suppressing an increase in the size of a retainer. <P>SOLUTION: A C-ring 25 formed of a material with a coefficient of linear expansion higher than that of differential carriers 16a and 16b is installed between the outer peripheral surface 17d of the outer race 17a of a tapered roller bearing 17 and the inner peripheral surfaces 16c and 16d of the differential carriers 16a and 16b supporting the outer race 17a on the outer peripheral surface 17d. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
