BAND CONTROL METHOD, COMPUTER PROGRAM, AND NETWORK APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band control technology capable of preventing inflation of priority while reflecting the priority of a sender on the band control.

SOLUTION: This network apparatus is used to control traffic of frames with priority predetermined in advance. Virtual queue information including: a group comprising one or more priorities; a threshold determined for each group, and a count indicating the total sum of flow of frames with priority belonging to a group is read from a storage device for storing the information in advance. The count of a group to which the priority imparted to frames whose contents of band control processing is to be decided, belongs, is compared with the threshold determined for the group. The contents of the band control processing are decided in response to a result of the comparison, and the virtual queue information stored in the storage device is revised depending on a result of the decision.
