PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a heavy, large-sized thin display device stand on its bottom using a two-leg table stand brace, by reinforcing the chassis structure of the thin display device. SOLUTION: In the thin display device with a chassis 117 which has a member for display disposed in the front face thereof and has a unit for drive and control of the display device disposed in a rear face thereof, two reinforcing members 11, parallel with each other are vertically attached to a center part in a horizontal direction of the rear face of the chassis 117 at a proper interval. Auxiliary metal fittings 12, having hat-shaped sections are fastened to two positions of both lower end parts of the reinforcing members 11 or four positions of both upper and lower end parts of the reinforcing member 11 with screws, and a scape 18 formed in the vertical direction between the reinforcing members 11 and the auxiliary metal fittings 12 in the lower ends is used as an insertion hole for a brace upper end of a two-leg table stand 105, and an insertion part 23 of the two-leg table stand 105 is inserted freely extractably to the insertion hole.
