PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation method of a waterproofed sheet and a settlement preventive member used therefor capable of installing a new waterproofed sheet on the substrate on which the existing waterproofed sheet is installed by suppressing settlement without removing the existing waterproofed sheet. SOLUTION: In the installation method of the waterproofed sheet installing the second waterproofed sheet 14 on the first waterproofed sheet 11 installed on a substrate layer 12, after at least one nonsettlement member 13 has been mounted on the first waterproofed sheet 11, the second waterproofed sheet 14 is coated on the first waterproofed sheet 11 on which the nonsettlement member 13 is mounted, a fixed member 15 is mounted on a position corresponding to a position which is located on the second waterproofed sheet 14, an anchor 16 is driven into the second waterproofed sheet 14 so as to pass through the nonsettlement member 13 and the fixed member 15 to fix the second waterproofed sheet 14 to the substrate layer 12.
