PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, with respect to an automatic winder having a plurality of take-up units and a doffing device reciprocating between the take-up units, a label affixing device for a take-up tube, which label affixing device displays the quality of a take-up package and fixes a label that cannot be easily peeled once it is affixed, and to provide the automatic winder that has the label affixing device. SOLUTION: The label affixing device includes a stopping means 4 for stopping at a predetermined position a take-up tube T conveyed along a conveyor 2, a label supply means 5 for supplying a label and recording given information onto it, and an affixing means 39 for receiving the label LA with the given information recorded on it and then affixing it to the inside of the take-up tube.
