PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge head which can enhance discharge reliability, even in case a nozzle equipped with vertically slender heating elements, is used. SOLUTION: The liquid discharge head has a discharge aperture 4 for discharging a liquid, a liquid flow path 5 communicating with the discharge aperture 4 and a heater 1 which is installed in a position opposite to the discharge aperture 4 in the liquid flow path 5 and generates energy for discharging the liquid from the discharge aperture 4. The center of gravity position of the discharge aperture 4 is located downstream in the ink flow direction of the liquid flow path 5 rather than in the center of gravity position of the heater 1.
