PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine capable of providing a player with an unprecedented novel game. SOLUTION: This Pachinko machine 1 is provided with a winning hole and a pair of wing pieces 22 and 23 in a game area 2 and installed with a tulip type electric generator 21 operating from a closed state to an open state by the satisfaction of a prescribed condition; and is further provided with gates 8 and 9 allowing the passing of game balls in the game area 2, a wing piece determination means capable of singularly controlling the operation of the wing pieces 22 and 23 respectively and determining to move either wing piece to the closed position, and a symbol display device 4 for notifying the player the determination result by the wing piece determination means. The wing piece which the wing piece determination means moves to the open position is determined by the passing of the ball through the gates 8 and 9, a message symbol such as "←shoot to the left" is displayed on the symbol display device 4 based on the determination of the wing piece determination means, and one wing piece is moved to the open position.
