PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a neck support and a vehicle seat apparatus which is capable of increasing the power to support the neck of an occupant by fitting the neck support to the shape of the neck of the occupant when the neck support is attached to a vertically movable headrest, and enhancing the stability when the neck support is attached. SOLUTION: The neck support of the vehicle seat is formed with a prescribed length in the vertical direction as seen from the front of the seat 5 and with the same width as the headrest 4 in the width direction of the vehicle, and is semicircular to project forward as seen from a side. The neck support 20 has a band member 25 to attach the neck support to the headrest 4, and a hard panel part 23 formed of a material harder than a cushion material in the front of a seat back 3 so that the neck support 20 can be laid from the seat back 3 to the headrest 4.
