The invention discloses an exhaust gas aftertreatment system (10), in particular for diesel engines of commercial vehicles. The exhaust gas aftertreatment system (10) comprises a housing (12); an exhaust gas inlet port (14) and an exhaust gas outlet port (16) which are provided in the housing (12); at least one exhaust gas purification element (18) which is arranged in the housing (12) and whose gas inlet guide is fluidically connected to the exhaust gas inlet port (14) of the housing (12) and whose gas outlet guide is fluidically connected to the exhaust gas outlet port (16) of the housing (12). The exhaust gas outlet port (16) is connected to the interior of the housing (12) by means of an exhaust gas tube (24), with that end of the exhaust gas tube (24) which is remote from the exhaust gas outlet port (16) being fluidically connected to the gas outlet guide of the at least one exhaust gas purification element (18) by means of an ascending tube section (22) of the exhaust gas tube (24) or by means of an ascending chamber (20d), so that even when the exhaust gas outlet port (16) is mounted relatively low in the vehicle, the intrusion of water into the housing (12) is prevented without further measures. |
