<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can effectively utilize the energy, when making the energy stored in auxiliary power supply discharged. <P>SOLUTION: When a multifunction device transfers to the remaining power mode, the switch controller 153 turns the 1st switches 221, 222 of the charging controller 22 to the lithium ion battery 23 side, and the 2nd switches 223, 224 to the electric double-layer capacitor 18 side to transfer the power stored in the lithium ion battery 23 into the 1st auxiliary power.
