<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polling method of a communication system which can improve the transmission latency for a non-periodic command such as the request for stop of transmission by expanding a user data region, and also to provide a polling control program of the communication system and a storage medium which stores the polling control program. <P>SOLUTION: The polling method consists of one base station 10 and a plurality of subscriber stations #1-#N, and transmits a command from the base station responsible for maintenance and operation to each subscriber station and sends a response from each subscriber station to the base station by using a maintenance and operation (command/response) region fixedly allocated in each wireless frame of a fixed length. In this method, the transmission period of a command which is issued periodically to check the normality of the line between the base station and each subscriber station is lengthened based on the track record of the normality of the line between the base station and each subscriber station to secure a vacant maintenance and operation (command/response) region, and the user data and the command are transmitted using this vacant maintenance and operation region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
