<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of high clutch torque in a high cruising range in a split power transmission comprising a variator 1, a brake L, a clutch H, an additional gear 2 composed of a planetary gear set and having a ring gear 17 as an output portion of the transmission TM, and another planetary gear set 6 located between an input shaft 3 and the additional gear in the power transmitting direction, transmitting a part of the power of the input shaft 3 of the transmission TM to the additional gear through the other planetary gear set 6, and guiding the variator output to the additional gear with a prescribed transmission ratio by a secondary shaft 10 mounted in parallel with the variator shaft. <P>SOLUTION: Torque division in a low cruising range is achieved by locking the brake L disconnectably connecting the ring gear 7 of the planetary gear set 6 located between the input shaft and the additional gear with a housing G, and in a high cruising range, a sun gear 15 of the additional gear is interlocked by the ring gear 17 of the additional gear by engaging the clutch H. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
