<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of easily changing an alarm setting value in plant equipment. <P>SOLUTION: When a certain central monitoring device changes an alarm setting value, the changed alarm setting value is transmitted to other central monitoring devices, a computer for control and a maintenance tool through a communication network. The other central monitoring devices and the computer for control rewrite an alarm setting value belonging to themselves to the changed alarm setting value.
