PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit an over current at a normal operation as well as decreasing a through-current in a circuit in which such a totem-pole connection is adopted as that in a CMOS circuit. SOLUTION: First and fourth resistors (R1, R4) are connected with a PMOS transistor (P1) configured by the totem-pole connection and a source of an NMOS transistor (N1), respectively. A voltage at mutual connection point of second and third resistors (R2, R3) series-connected to each other between an input signal terminal (3) and a point having an electric power source potential is applied to the gate of the PMOS transistor. A voltage at mutual connection point of fifth and sixth resistors (R5, R6) series-connected to each other between the input signal terminal and a point having a ground potential is applied to a gate of the NMOS transistor. Each value of resistances of the resistors is determined so that the NMOS transistor is allowed to be conductive at the time of a high level of an input signal, while the same is allowed to be nonconductive at the time of a low level thereof and vice versa with respect to the conduction and input signal level of each transistor.
