PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain desired image processing by combining arbitrary image processing modules without complicating the configurations of the image processing modules. SOLUTION: As an image processing module for outputting the processing result by an image processing engine for processing image data by every unit data quantity to the post-stage, a plurality of image processing modules 38 whose image processing contents are different are prepared, and one or more image processing modules are selected according to necessary image processing. An image processing part is constructed by connecting those respective modules in pipe-line configurations or directed non-circular graph configurations so that a buffer module 40 equipped with a buffer for writing the output image data of the pre-stage image processing module in the buffer by every preliminarily set unit write data quantity, and for reading the image data stored in the buffer by every unit read data quantity by the post-stage image processing module of its own module can be connected to at least either the pre-stage or post-stage of the selected individual image processing modules 38.
