PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transaction device and an input device improved in operability on a screen by preventing an unintended button pressing from being treated as valid and performing, in this case, guidance to a normal button display position, so that an appropriate operation can be performed subsequently. SOLUTION: The automatic transaction device or an input device having a touch panel arranged on a display part comprises a means detecting a contact to button in display words, and a control means performing guidance to the normal button display position in which when contact to a button in the display words is detected, the guidance to the normal button display position is performed. Further, the device comprises a means detecting contact to areas other than buttons in the display words, and when the contact to areas other than buttons in the display words is not detected, but the direct contact to the button in the display words is detected, this is treated as a normal button input.
