PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of image quality caused by a capacitance between wires of signal lines in a display apparatus in which a display panel such as a liquid crystal display panel is driven in time division. SOLUTION: When a tripartite time division driving is carried out by providing change switches for every three signal lines of R (red), G (green) and B (blue) in a plurality of signal lines and sequentially switching the respective change switches to apply display signal voltages to the respective signal lines, control signals SW_RI, SW_GI, SW_BI to switch the display signal voltages to be applied and control signals SW_RO, SW_GO, SW_BO to switch signal lines to apply the display signal voltage synchronously with the above signals are set to sequentially apply the display signal voltages to the respective signal lines at least twice in one horizontal scanning period.
