PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incoming outside air detection method and an incoming outside air detector for determining an incoming position easily with high accuracy when outside air comes from outside of a equipment into the equipment. SOLUTION: In this incoming outside air detection method, the sound of outside air is detected coming into a domain where its inside is getting a negative pressure (36), the detected sound is arithmetically processed, and an outside air incoming point is determined according to data obtained by the arithmetical processing (39).
