PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small cover cleaning apparatus using high-pressure water that is capable of efficiently and thoroughly cleaning a small cover and its peripheral area. SOLUTION: The small cover cleaning apparatus using high-pressure water is for cleaning a small cover 2 to be installed in the upper part of an oven cover 1 for tightly closing the extrusion side of the respective oven chambers of a chamber type coke oven and the peripheral area of the small cover 2 and comprises a contact type cleaner M for cleaning the inner face 3 of the small cover port; core adjustment means 14 for adjusting the core of the contact type cleaner M; and a high-pressure water cleaning apparatus W for cleaning a seat face 4 of the small cover port, a gas duct 5 and the entire circumference of the tip end part of a knife edge 6: and the working starting point of the contact type cleaner M detected by the core adjustment means 14 is used also as the working starting point of the high-pressure water cleaning apparatus W.
