PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentration apparatus capable of recovering a recyclable alkaline or acidic aqueous solution from an aqueous solution such as industrial wastewater or the like in which an alkaline or acidic non-condensible gas is dissolved. SOLUTION: The concentration apparatus 1 is equipped with a hermetically closed evaporation chamber 11 in which the aqueous solution of the non-condensible gas is stored, a plurality of the heat transfer pipes 25 provided in the evaporation chamber 11, the first and second headers 21 and 22 respectively connected to both ends of a plurality of the heat transfer pipes 25, a supply means for supplying the aqueous solution in the evaporation chamber 11 to the outer surfaces of the heat transfer pipes 25 and a compressor 30 for compressing the mixture gas of the steam and non-condensible gas produced in the evaporation chamber 11 to raise its temperature before guiding it to the first header 21. The first header 21 is partitioned by a partition member 28 to be formed into a recovered liquid storage space 23 and a mixture gas introducing space 24 and constituted so as to recover the condensate form the mixture gas guided from the compressor 30.
