PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating drum type solid-liquid separator capable of removing only contaminants in raw water and feeding them to a dehydrator even when clogging is caused in a drum screen, thereby preventing overflow water from flowing into the dehydrator unlike a conventional separator. SOLUTION: In the rotating drum type solid-liquid separator, a screw for feeding contaminants 11 is rotatably disposed on a circumference of a raw water inlet pipe 3, and connected and fixed to a drum screen 2 so that the screw for feeding contaminants 11 integrally rotates with the drum screen 2 on the circumference of the raw water inlet pipe 3, a draining trough 13 in a tub form forming a semicircular cross section through which draining holes 13a are perforated on a circumferential surface of the draining trough 13 is fixedly disposed so as to cover a lower half portion of the screw for feeding contaminants 11 on an outer circumference of the screw 11, and a vane for scraping up contaminants 14 by which contaminants that are transported toward a dram opening end side in the drum screen 2 are scraped up and loaded into the draining trough 13 is vertically disposed at a position opposed to the draining through 13 on an inner circumference surface on the drum opening end side of the drum screen 2.
