PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction hose for a vacuum cleaner provided with a bending mechanism for improving operability by controlling the centroid of a hose and suppressing appearance deterioration, weight increase and power decline by simple constitution. SOLUTION: By providing the bending mechanism 8 to position a turning spindle 44 on the outside of the diameter and the lower side of a hose main body 11, since the hose main body 11 is bent to the vertical lower side by gravity with the turning spindle 44 as a center and the centroid of the hose main body 11 is turned to a position at a sufficient distance away from a grip 15 provided on an operation part 4 at the lower part in a vertical direction, the gravity of the hose main body 11 applied to the grip 15 is reduced and the operability is improved. Further, strength for pulling a cleaner main body 2 is secured just by the turning spindle 44 without changing the dimension of the hose 3. Also, since the hose main body 11 is formed by sandwiching a frame member 20 by a cover 23, a strong suction hose which is strong against external force and can secure absolute vacuum is provided.
