The invention relates to a folding catamaran with two hull bodies (1) and a frame (2), detachably connected to both hull bodies (1), with plug recesses (4, 5) in the longitudinal middle of the front transverse arm (3) thereof for a mast (6) and a jib boom (7) whereby the mast (6) is supported by means of shrouds (8) on the longitudinal arms (9) of the frame (2) and by means of a forestay (10) on the jib boom (7) itself tensioned against the frame (2). According to the invention, advantageous construction conditions can be achieved, whereby a housing (14) for a keel carrier (12) is provided on the underside of the front transverse arm (3) of the frame (2) opposite the plug housing (4) for the mast (6) to which a tensioning cable (11) for the jib boom (7) is attached at a separation from the transverse arm (3) together with lateral tensioning cables (15) which are attached in the region of the shrouds (8) to the longitudinal arms (9) of the frame (2). |
