<p>The invention relates to a soil-working machine (1) comprising at least one raisable towed chassis (2), which works in the soil at the topsoil level and is adjustable by means of at least one reference element (4) coupled to said chassis (2), this reference element (4) being provided in the form of a roller formed of a juxtaposition of at least four wheels (5, 5') provide with a tire made of a flexible material, at least some (5') of the wheels (5, 5') coming to rest on the soil both in a transporting and working position of the chassis (2). This machine is characterized in that the wheels (5, 5') of the multi-purpose reference element are, individually or by group, each mounted independently, and oscillate relative to the chassis (2) via a device (6) having a safety and shock-absorbing function, this device (6) allowing, when the pressure exerted upon the wheel (5, 5') or group of wheels is greater than a predetermined pressure, a vertical and/or lateral disengagement of the wheel (5, 5') or group of wheels and, when below this pressure, a return of the wheel (5, 5') or group of wheels into a working or transporting position.</p> |
